放眼全球，世界正看著新竹。
新竹，在全球半導體供應鏈扮演重要角色，也由相關產業出發，連接起台灣企業全球化的紐帶，擴大了城市的國際視野。然而，在產業蓬勃發展的同時，人文、藝術與公益的心靈價值，也亟須扎根在地，接軌全球。
「愛」是由心出發的感動；「惜」是將感動化為行動。「社團法人新竹市愛惜社區推展協會」是一群關懷本土、致力社區營造的有心人所成立的公民社會組織，希望以具體行動「愛惜」這片土地。我們期待藉由鼓舞社區民眾，一起發揮公民力量，並透過廣播、活動、教育、訓練等方式，經營新竹成為一個結合科技與人文的美麗城市。
為此，本協會主辦公益、文化、教育等相關活動，廣邀新竹的國際級企業、在地賢達與熱心民眾，共同發揚城市美學，關懷弱勢。同時，為傳遞理念，喚起公民意識，特別選定與本協會願景相契，廣播界的典範，三度獲得金鐘獎專業頻道大獎，合計榮獲三十座廣播金鐘獎及二座文馨獎的『IC之音 ‧竹科廣播 』為長期合作夥伴。
新竹從三百年文化古城，經過科技洗禮，已快速邁入「公民社會」時代，也是一座能夠影響全世界的城市。本協會盼望藉由公民、企業與媒體之力，形塑這座城市的價值觀；以愛為先，疼惜周遭的人、事、物，成為營造社區、珍愛環境、轉化城市的行動典範。

About iShare Foundation
With eyes on to the world, our humble beginning started from Hsinchu,
Hsinchu plays not only an important role in the global semiconductor supply chain, but also in other relevant industries. The city connects Taiwanese enterprises to the links of globalization, and has expanded its own global visions. However, while the industry sector is booming, the spiritual values of humanities, art, and public welfare also need to be firmly established and integrated into the global community.
“Love” is an emotion from one’s heart; “cherish” is turning the emotion into an action. “iShare Foundation” is a civil, non-profit organization established by a group of people dedicated to the local community and its development, and hoping to “cherish” this piece of land by taking concrete actions. By encouraging the local community to exert civil power together, and through broadcast, events, education, and other methods, we look forward to transforming Hsinchu into a beautiful city that combines technology with humanities.
For this reason, the foundation organizes and sponsors charity, cultural, educational and other related activities. We invite Hsinchu-based international and multinational companies, local dignitaries, and concerned citizens to promote sustainability, equity and livability in our communities as well as the welfare of vulnerable and disadvantaged people. Fortunately, we found a like-minded organization to be our partner in promoting this mission: IC Broadcasting. Since its founding, IC Broadcasting has consistently been an award winner at the prestigious Golden Bell Award. Over the last ten years, IC Broadcasting has won a total of 30 Golden Bell Awards, 99 award nominations, and is the only three-time winner of the “Best Specialized Radio Station” award, which speaks volume about its credential and its arts.
Through the influence of technological progress, Hsinchu has quickly transformed from a 300 years-old cultural city into a civil society capable of exerting its influence on the world. We, the foundation, wish to harness a positive force with the help of citizens, private and public organization, and media to instill a culture of love, caring, and progression into the people and environment around us.
